Panic has been mounting throughout the world in response to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Businesses have been affected a lot, especially small businesses. Many employees are in a state of panic and seeing even small coughs or sick symptoms as emergency warning signs. As a team manager or a business owner, you need to take specific actions to maintain hygiene. To avoid any physical contact, employees should be asked to work from home. Additionally, employees should get regular updates about the steps they can take to stay away from the Corona-virus. Keep a safe distance from everyone and avoid gatherings - maintain standards of social distancing. This does not mean you need to isolate. In fact, it is essential to stay connected with your employees in such a pandemic.

As said, you may stay connected with your colleagues using text messages, Whats-App messages, Face-time, emails, etc. Employees need to hear your voice and vice versa. 

Stay connected and help your employees as much as possible to avoid any distractions or disturbances and remove any obstacles they may face when they are asked to work from home. This will keep them enthusiastic about sitting at home and keep them away from the thoughts of Corona-19.

These tips will not only help you manage your teams during this pandemic; they will also have the added benefit of giving your employees confidence that they have selected the right organization to work for. Your employees will feel reassured that their needs and concerns are being heard and addressed no matter what.
